The thing Manchester Airport are asking all passengers to take note of this summer

Holidaymakers are being warned that roadworks on the M56 could mean delays travelling to Manchester Airport. A major resurfacing works project on the M56 got underway yesterday and is set to last until the end of August. Both carriageways of a stretch of the motorway near the airport in south Manchester are being resurfaced. Road markings and bridge joints are also being replaced.
