Overlooked Reasons Why U.S. Job Openings May Have Fallen Short Of Economists’ Expectations

The United States labor market showed signs of cooling in July, as job openings fell to 7.7 million, according to the latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary report. This marked the lowest number of job openings since January 2021.
