Houston weather: It's an ABC13 Weather Alert Day due to threat of heavy rain and severe storms

Tropical moisture is surging behind a warm front, and torrential downpours and street flooding are likely as it collides with the line of storms coming in from North Texas. Due to the heavy rain potential, areas near and north of the Interstate 10 corridor have been placed on a Flood Watch until 7 a.m. Friday.
