Many of the Furiosa reviews coming out of the Cannes Film Festival will rightly focus on Anya Taylor-Joy’s coalfire performance, on the film’s labyrinthine action sequences, on its relentless sense of bleak hopelessness, on Chris Hemsworth’s insane fake nose.
