Cincinnati Zoo loses young bonobo to virus

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Cincinnati Zoo is mourning the loss of a young bonobo.
Three-year-old bonobo Amali passed away after an RSV infection outbreak within the bonobo troop.
Bonobos are especially susceptible to RSV and the secondary infections that happen alongside it, according to the zoo.
Keepers are treating other members of the bonobo troop that have symptoms.
