Canadian border workers set to take action this Friday
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) has reached a tentative agreement with the Canadian federal government.
According to PSAC, more than 9,000 Canadian workers were set to begin job action this Friday if a deal wasn’t reached with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). That didn’t mean a typical strike was on the horizon, but workers could have begun implementing work-to-rule practices, according to a CBC report.
